BBQ Rumors
I just came across this interesting little tidbit....
"Timberlake To Expand Restaurant Empire"
Seems like Justin Timberlake and his business partners Trace Ayala and Eytan Sugarman are in talks to take up a second location of Southern Hospitality in Chelsea.
According to New York Magazine, the trio are have singled out a space on 6th Avenue for a rent of around $35,000 per month.
This is great news in this economy. I wish them luck. They're gonna need it.

Isn't Chelsea in the United Kingdom?
;)
WOW, 35k a month? Talk about your overhead!
You might want to mention to your friend, the Hampton Smoker, that he might want to apply for a job as pitmaster there. He mentioned in his site that he left Wildwood BBQ and was looking for new work... and I bet he'd really bring something to the table over at S.H.. At least he'd get out from under the shadow of Big Lou Elouse to shine (I mean smoke) on his own. From what I understand he's definitely up to it.
Matt Fischer(aka the Hampton Smoker) should man the pit at this location now that he's left Wildwood. With his skills he'd really give RUB,Hill Country, & Blue Smoke a run for their money in that area. (Forget about Hog Pit.) This is what competition BBQ is all about!!!
