Speak for yourself. My family likes Smokey Bones. They have a lot more than just BBQ. Also those restaurants have people that work there not robots. Here is yet another US company eliminating jobs. I don't believe Darden will offer folks other jobs.
I will agree that Smokey Bones is the Best barbeque restaurant in the country. My wife and I travel all over and even in so-called barbeque country, you can't find better food. If you prefer people that are not well trained and a dingy shack, I guess Smokey Bones is not for you...They are much more than barbeque also! Great steaks and the drinks are awesome!
i was also a big fan of smokey bones and was sad to see them close. my family would come in from out of town and always looked forward to going there. also spent many evenings there, watching basketball playoffs and ohio state football games with friends. though it will probably be impossible for a chain restaurant to ever duplicate the taste of ribs you get at a rib cookoff, their ribs were tender, flavorful and never dry. and the servers at smokey bones were probably some of the best servers i have ever had in ANY restaurant.
Yikes.. that is just sad to see people saying Smokey Bones is GOOD food... let me guess you think road kill is great too dipped in BBQ sauce????
