Farberware comes through
As you know, a knife of mine made by Faberware broke when I tried to cut a piece of cheese. I sent them an email yesterday asking to have it replaced and this is what they sent back...

Since you have been a loyal fan of Farberware® products, you can understand that this is not typical of your past experiences with our products. (I never mentioned any past experience with Farberware products)
Our Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care. During the applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, product which prove defective. We do not offer a refund. Under the terms of our warranty, we will replace a product with an item of equal or better value when the identical product is unavailable.

I wonder what the postal regulations are concerning the shipment of knives?
